The process of making prefabricated houses starts with building modular components at our factory. The prefabricated components are then transported to the construction site where they are ready to be assembled.
Using high quality wood is essential for building a long-lasting home. That is why here at Maison Kovacevic we use EU certified Austrian timber marked C14, meaning that the moisture content is below 14%. This gives the home strength and durability. In order to provide excellent earthquake resistance the wood pieces are fastened together using German designed anti-corosive fasteners and screws.
Depending on the size of the house, terrain and the customer's requirements we are able to make different types of walls, each suited for a particular purpose. The most common type of wall used is listed below:
This is the reason for the well-known fact that Prefabricated Houses have superior insulation properties, keeping their residents warm while saving energy. Naturally, this also means that prefabricated houses can be quickly constructed and have less impact on the environment.
All materials used to construct Maison Kovacevic prefabricated houses are of EU certified origin.
